Allied Health Sciences

The Allied Health Science directorate is under the Clinical Services Division. Allied Health refers to a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic health services that are provided across the hospital.

Surgery

The Unit of General Surgery at Kinihira Provincial Hospital provides excellent care to patient with both emergent and non emergent general surgical conditions.

Accident & Emergency

The Emergency Department provides immediate care for life-threatening conditions and urgent medical needs. It operates 24/7 and serves as the first point of contact for trauma cases, obstetric emergencies, severe infections, and critically ill patients from across the district and beyond.

Internal Medicine

The Department of Internal Medicine is committed to medical excellence in the care of patients and the pursuit of clinical services.

Mental Health

The Mental Health Department provides comprehensive and compassionate care for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions.

Anesthesiology & critical care

The department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care provides anesthesia care for the full spectrum of medical and surgical indications at hospital.

Gynecology & Obstetrics

The Gynecology and Obstetrics Service provides comprehensive, high-quality care for women's reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum needs. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering safe, patient-centered, and evidence-based care while promoting the health and well-being of mothers and their babies. We strive to ensure positive health outcomes through compassionate service, prevention, timely intervention, and continuous quality improvement.

Pediatrics

The Pediatrics Department at Kinihira Hospital provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents across the district. The department manages common childhood illnesses such as pneumonia, malaria, diarrhea, and malnutrition, while also caring for newborns requiring specialized attention.

Maternal and Neonatology

Neonatology is a department of Maternal and Neonatology directorate that consists of the medical care of newborn infants, especially the ill or premature newborn. 

Ophthalmology

The Ophthalmology Service provides comprehensive eye care, including the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye diseases and vision disorders. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care using modern diagnostic and treatment approaches to preserve and improve vision.
